Which Gun Orgs?

Recommended Posts

I get a whole lot of mail from various gun organizations.
GOA, GOC, CRPA, VCDL,

The others appear to be more email harvesters, which cause all sorts of advertising in my inbox.
All these "gun" orgs are asking for money.

Anybody have names known to be scams?
I like to donate to active litigators such as GOA, etc.

We used to be members of CRPA when we were residents.  Seemed to be a good org.

FPC is pretty active:

Actual participation in litigation as primary attorneys or through amicus briefs.

There are some others I follow, this was simply the biggest gap I saw on a first thread read.

SAF is also active, though there is some associated drama like with the NRA. I leave it to the reader to determine if each is self-inflicted or fabricated by the opposition.

What Kris said, CRPA does or did try like hell to keep a good fight going for your right. But I am afraid they might be losing the battle because people are leaving California

Scammers? No. I am not aware of any that are Pro 2A

I donate to the NRA, the NRA ILA and the NRA PVC.

I used to donate to the FPC and CRPA. Both good organizations, but CRPA is in CA. I no longer live there. The FPC? I had to make a decision. I don’t make the money I used to so someone had to lose out. FPC was the one.

Anyone who doesn’t support the Second Amendment Foundation is doing themselves and all of us a HUGE DISSERVICE!!

They probably do more in litigation and in contesting state and local violations of the Second Amendment than any other organization, these days.  Dues are low and they don’t hound you for donations with every message!
