Center pin? Not sure what you mean. You mean the base pin???
Abilene, SASS # 27489
The Pietta base pin (cylinder pin) is interchangeable with Uberti (and Colt as well, I believe). The very first thing, and only, thing I did to my one Pietta was to put an Uberti base pin in it. Hate the Pietta pin.

I also replaced it.

They are a pain but I like them as they are very positive locking into place. Won't jump like others.

Lead Monger
Pietta base pins work in an Uberti and Belt Mountain pins work great also.
Abe E.S. Corpus SASS #87667
I put “no safety” (one groove around the circumference) base pins in my Pietta GW2s as soon as I bought them. They work fine.

Texas Shane
Little off topic but I cut my pietta base pins down to alleviate the “safety”. Never had a problem since.
Kodiak Bill
Colt cylinder pins are .005” bigger than the Italian ones.
