Not to say there is a comparison because I don't know, but we shot 3.5" 10 ga. magnum slugloads out of my Zabala early this week. Lots of recoil. I couldn't find any pictures of the one Fireball made but the one in the video made by Larry Romano has a different bolt face than a stock 1887. From the below picture it looks like the bolt face extends into the chamber of the barrel a bit. The only difference I see is the picture above has a cut on the left side. And my CC-87 looks the same as the original above (not pictured).
