TOM tipton
WTB pair 44 cal steel frame percussion revolvers. Prefer Pietta with 5 1/2 inch barrels. But open to others if price is right. Edited August 8 by TOM tipton

Slapshot
Think it was Sedalia Dave that had a couple 1851's and a 1860 44 for sale little while back. Might want to shoot him a message and see if he still has them.
Sedalia Dave
Still have 3 available. They have all the necessary mods for reliability except a Cap rake. I don't have the proper tools to do this correctly. I'll post pictures this afternoon and details when I get home in a couple hours.
Tucker McNeely
I’ve corrupted another shooter to come to the dark side and shoot c&b pistols! 1
Sedalia Dave
@TOM tipton 3 Pietta 1851 44 Cal with Navy Grips. All 3 pistols have been tuned and bolt to cylinder fit issues common on Pietta pistols corrected. All nipples were replaced with Treso nipples. I did not install cap rakes or replace the hand springs as I am lacking the proper tools to do these mods correctly. All pistols are used and show typical signs of wear. That said all are mechanically sound and have lots of life left in them. I have shot them in several matches. Only selling them because my Late Wife bought me a pair of Long Hunter 1860's with Fluted cylinders. #1 #2 #3 Price for the 1851's is $360 each Shipped USPS priority mail to your door where allowed. Buy 2 or more and I'll drop the price to $350 each. Also have 1 Pietta 1860 in 44 cal. Tuned just like the above. It has a scratch on the right side above the wedge so it is only $335. shipped. If I have to ship from an FFL on my end, add an extra $20.00 per pistol to cover the fees on my end. Edited August 5 by Sedalia Dave

Hey Dave I was really wanting the shorter barrels but will keep these in mind if I can’t find what I am looking for. Thanks for posting the pics

I have discovered that the slight longer sight radius benefits me as with the longer barrels I have more clean matches under my belt. My longest no miss streak is 480 rifle/pistol rounds. That was two back to back State matches plus a BP side match.

Long Colt Luke
I've got a pietta 1860 army brass frame 44 cal with an 8 inch barrel I'd sell for 270+shipping. I understand it has the wrong barrel length and frane type, so just let me know if you're interested.

F. Greysmoke ,#12093
Howdy pards, I don't have any for sale or trade, just my 2 cents. The seating of the ball will be much harder with a 5 1/2" barrel because the ram is shorter. Yes you can use a "cheater pipe" to increase mechanical advantage/leverage but be gentle as parts could bend. You could also use a cylinder loader, but that's extra expense and you have to take the guns apart everytime to load, pain in the a;;; 36 cals are much easier to seat. Good Luck Pard.
