SALOON Tip of the Day

If it's a glass shelf, what's the point? Easier to wipe glass than a placemats and the glass. I'm just guessing here, not very domestic! But learning since Ellie just broke her collar bone.:(

First let me clarify:

1. We have glass and do not use place mats.

2. The placemats pictured are UGLY! I would suggest something lighter.

As to the idea, my only thought is that a spill could get on the glass where someone older could not get to and having something to pull out might make it easier for them, IMHO.

I wonder if you were to get some powdered chalk, like is used for drawing lines on a baseball field, and circle fire ant hills with it. Would the ants not cross the chalk, and stay in the hill until they starve to death or eat each other in a cannibalistic frenzy? That way I wouldn't have to put poison in my backyard.

I think they would be confused to death because you didn't make a baseball diamond, but a baseball circle, and there are no bases either.  Their little minds won't be able to process it all.

Ann likes to decorate the house by coordinating items in each room.

Bathrooms are no exception.

In each of ours we have soap dispensers and recently she wanted to color coordinate them to match the accessories.

What to do?

She decided to add food coloring to the clear liquid and voila! Matching soap dispenser.

And no it does not dye your hands from the food coloring. ;)

There's people who will try it!

Too bad many of them are in Canadian politics, serving as Liberal Members of Parliament.

What were those two things you were sticking together by using a water bottle as a coupling?

My guess is that it's two pieces of grey pvc conduit pipe. Snip-it_1655999055184.jpg.dd73128a853c9844b3971c86a25d39d8.jpg

Zip Ties will help you fix a blown out tire.

Always carry some in your vehicle.
