Three Foot Johnson Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 If it weren't for the minor chipping on the right side of the heel where the Pachmayr Old English butt pad was fitted, I would call this rifle essentially flawless. Marbles tang sight, .38-55, 24" octagon barrel, JM stamp, made in 1999. The apparent flaw on the JM stamp pic is just my fingerprint. Shipping & insurance are going to run $60-$80, so let's call it $1500 + $50 shipping, CONUS. California OK. NEW DEAL - I'll eat the shipping, and go $1500, shipped, to your FFL.

Three Foot Johnson Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Offers? The worst I can do is .
Three Foot Johnson Posted February 18, 2022 Author Posted February 18, 2022 I plumb forgot I had this for sale. Turn that tax refund into FUN, and with the current inflation rate, this fine rifle is waaay under the money at the moment.
Three Foot Johnson Posted February 21, 2022 Author Posted February 21, 2022 Deal fell through - back up for sale.
Three Foot Johnson Posted March 19, 2022 Author Posted March 19, 2022 Huh, once again, I forgot I had this for sale.
Pee Wee #15785 Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 If you have never shot the .38-55 it is like shooting a .22 incompairison to a .45-70. They do real good to about 500-600 yards but the .45-70 is better past that. It has been used to take all North American big game. If I didn't have a Browning High Wall in .38-55 I. would give this rifle a long hard look. The rifle is not very common.
Silver Creek Jack Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 BTT for a good pard to do business with!
