Bullets ?

Anyone shoot those red bullets I see on the interweb? The reason is I cant seem to find any cast bullets now. Seems everone is out

I like to shoot the 125gntc in 38cal but it looks  like it might be a while to get them.

Just ordered some 45 colt from Bang and Clang. Looks like they have 38's in stock.

@Burley Jack Those Red bullets you are referring to are cast lead bullets with a polymer jacket. Perfectly legal for SASS. Most are coated with a commercial mix sold by Hi-Tek. It is baked onto a cast lead bullet in 1 or more coatings. The bullets are then sized.

Applied properly the coating is fused to the lead and will not flake off.

 

They are very popular due to the elimination of conventional lube. Work with smokeless powder, APP, and Triple 7 with no issues. Real BP still requires lube in most applications.

SNS bullets are also good.  I use them and Cimarron and have had quick service from each.  That being said, the others listed in the replies to my knowledge are also excellent sources.

Thanks Guys for all the help….now maybe I can get myself back shootln some steel. Been out of shooting for a year due to an injury to my shoot hand….dont play with knives. Cut my wrist bad lifeflight and all that. Cant wait to shoot.
