Charlie MacNeil, SASS #48580 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 To all: it is my honor, though I do it with sadness, to inform you of the recent passing of David Bivens, aka Cornflakes. Although he discovered the fine art of Cowboy Action Shooting a bit later in life than many of us, he took to it with an enthusiasm rarely seen in anyone these days. In addition to shooting CAS, Cornflakes was an accomplished carpenter whose Bar 11 Boxes guncarts can be seen all over western Idaho and eastern Oregon and who knows where else. His emphatic rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance could stir the coldest of hearts. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers, folks. Another good 'un is gone, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Bullett Sass 19707 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 My daughters and myself shot many matches with Cornflakes and many members of his family. A true gentleman, even at an advanced age he would carry on posse duties and what ever needed to be done. Always a positive and fun attitude and a great outlook on life. He will be greatly missed.
