Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Do you think they experience much recidivism??
Badlands Bob #61228 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Well, the ground is soft right now. It'll be easy to bury them.
Alpo Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I like the attitude. But how you reckon that'd work? "I look out and there's this guy in an orange vest going through my stuff. I pick up Ol' Betsy and go outside. " 'What the hell you think you're doin'!?' "And he says, 'I'm collecting for the poor.' "Yeah, right." RACK-RACK -- BOOM!!! "Then I drag his dead ass out in the street, pour encourager les autres." And then the POlice come visitin'.
Lorelei Longshot, SASS #44256 Life Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Sheriff Troy Nehls of Fort Bend county has warned looters will not be tolerated and that many of us are armed. He stated, "If you loot, you may go out in a bag. We are armed." Looting has happened all over Houston proper, but so far nothing reported in Fort Bend county. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but if it has the news and the sheriff haven't reported it.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Signs like this appear after every national disaster in the US. Nothing wrong or illegal with putting up a sign. Pulling the trigger can be another matter.
Sedalia Dave Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Looters should think twice in Texas. With some restrictions; the use of deadly force to prevent Robbery, Aggravated Robbery or Theft is justified in the Great State Of Texas. Use of deadly force is not just confined to your home but also extends outside the home and can including protecting another's property if certain conditions are met. When the use of deadly force is authorized there is no duty to retreat before using deadly force. Texas Castle Doctrine
