I'm at the Hidden Valley RV park staying under an air conditioner and watching TV.  I saw an add for EOT on the ABQ ABC affiliate - the first I have ever seen.  I asked to posse with Jim No Horse so I could video him.  If so I'll post videos of Chemo Sabe next week.  Pray for the shooters as they shoot the late afternoon shift.  It will be 100 degree plus every afternoon until Sunday.  Some shooters are really going to be heat stressed.

I will not post any videos of Jim No Horse this year.  I am on posse 3 and he is on posse 21.  We are shooting the same schedule but at different ends of the range.  Videoing him just will not work.  I did see him.  He is a cheerful as ever and more energetic than last EOT.

The heat was mean this afternoon.  I drove through Los Lunas (a town south of ABQ) and a sign showed a temperature of 111 degrees F.  I must have been tough shooting at Founders Ranch this afternoon.  Fortunately the next two days in Edgewood the temperatures are not forecast to reach 90 degrees F.  However there may be some rain.

My wife shot this video of me shooting stage 4.  There was no wind.  All six of the BP shooters struggled with not seeing the targets this morning.  We had fairly long stage times.  Stage 4 EOT 2017

Well I guess this as good as any place to post this.

my hands have been getting number as the calendar changes pages.  Last year just the tips were numb this year half way up the palm from the tips is numb and it shows first stage first shot was with gun out and I had a ad that hit the stand of the target, second stage last shot was a miss third stage I got things right and shot it clean. Those that know me or shot with me know I'm mobility challenged because of numbness in my feet and legs and back pain requires me to man the ult mainly and set as much as possible to reduce the pain I'm in.  Well after shooting the third stage my heart felt like it was coming threw my chest so I called it quits for the match because of the heat and altitude.  I'm retiring from shooting matches until the time my hands are better if I have to I shoot in a wheel chair but with my hands not being able to feel the trigger it just not safe or wise to try.  I've really enjoyed shooting with everyone but it's not worth hurting myself or someone else.  I may show up as a conventioneer at some matches as I really enjoy the atmosphere.
