So yes, although I haven't served, I will call one out on it. Why? because I DO SUPPORT those who have and are serving in our military and I don't appreciate liars/posers...it only serves to diminish those who served with honor and integrity. Charlie Whiskers Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 I don't agree with lying about a service record.I was in the Army Reserves during the "unpopular war" 66-72.Don't say much about it,because I was safe at home playing soldier one weekend a month and 2 weeks a summer.We came close to being "shipped out" in 70 but that was cancelled a month before we were supposed to go.I will say this about Jesse;when he ran for office no one thought he'd make it.But he did and turned out to be a very good govenor.He hated the media (one good point in my book) and saw to it that every taxpayer in the state got a refund of surplus taxes from over taxing and the State lottery money.He also worked to get quite a few infrastructure improvements done that the previous Gov's before him had hamstringed.So,in spite of his SEAL lie,he did at least serve,even if it wasn't in what he claimed.
