Has anybody seen this movie, "Heaven's Gate"?

 

It appears that it's out on DVD.

 

On a scale of one to five stars; one star ( * ) being worst, five stars ( ***** )being best...how would you rate this movie?

I'd give it a 2 only because it's sort of a cowboy movie. I've tried to watch it a couple of times and kept thinking it would get better. I was wrong, plus it's really long.

Lump, ya ever see KK in the movie "The Tracker"? Pretty dang good movie in my book and its got a Sharps rifle in prominence as well.

I've seen it, really enjoyed the fiddle player on roller skates. Lots of "skin", fair amount of "killin".

I have it on DVD and watch it maybe once a year. I agree with Boulder Canyon Bob, but it is entertaining occasionally. After all ain't that why we watch most of this "fictional" stuff, it sure isn't a documentary

Long movie...I think they were trying to make it appear to come off as a sort of documentry. Roller skating scene was expensive to produce as I understand it. Worth watching at least once.

It's officially the movie that killed United Artists. Just one example: the entire cast and crew were flown to London to film a scene hat lasts maybe 15 minutes at the very beginning of the movie, and could ave been cut entirely without hurting the film at all.

Yup... the Roller Skatin' scene was fun. Who wouldn't enjoy a fiddler on skates~?
