Oh dear . . . . this is so sad. I've shot with him many times over the years, and was always glad to have him on my posse.

Scout was a good friend.

I will miss him very much.

Cheyenne, your facts are correct.

Scout was into the old guns.

He generally shot reproductions at matches, but he was a collector and active member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association.

I went with Scout and my friend Grabby to some of the shows and Scout's eyes would light up when he saw a 19th century gun he wanted.

He shot Cowboy when there were no clubs in Ohio.

He & Grabby had to travel to Indiana to shoot.

Scout was a member of the original OVV in Mansfield, Ohio

Lately he shot mostly at OVV and Firelands.

Scout leaves a hole in the local Cowboy population that will never be filled.

Dakota Skipper and I are saddened to hear of his passing.

Prayers go out to his wife & family.

Having been away for a few, I just got the news today that he was in Hospice. My heart sank. Prayers up for his family and the cowboy family round here.

He was a true cowboy gentleman. Always in a good mood, kinda quiet but always willing to talk about whatever you had on your mind. A real loss to the cowboy shootin world, he was dedicated to this sport. Prayers for his wife Sue and the whole family. Rest in peace Scout. Rye
