Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 It's startling, but I reckon I can get used to it. BUT!! Can't we replace the "IP Board" logo at the top o' the page with a picture of a SASS badge, or a cowboy, or better yet, a cowgirl~? Every time I see that thing it makes me think of Minnie Pearl and her hat with the price tag still hangin' off it... Come to think of it... why not replace it with a picture of Minnie~?

Cyrus Cassidy #45437 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 They will upgrade the "look" of things as the work progresses, I'm sure. It is nice not to have to wait for the gerbil wheel bearings to be replaced every time a page loads, though!
Grampaw Willie, SASS No.26996 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 OK, lemme try 1 on the old SASS we were not allowed to show images because the SASSWIRE generated too much traffic to our personal web-pages -- which we used as a source for such images let's see if they fixed that: the Message Board Software should cache the image data for a period -- possibly like 24 hrs. After 24 hrs the message slips onto Page 2 and doesn't get many hits unless someone goes back and does a BTT action ... hmmmm hang fire again. somebody call Deja
