I typically use three different bullets, one for rifle (44-40) and two different pistols (45 and 44special). For me, life is too short to limit your choice in guns.

Now you're talking. My ultimate category would be frontier cartridge gunfighter classic cowboy. You get BP, shoot gunfighter, and have to shoot 40 cal and up, not to mention the clothing requirements. It's pretty much what I shoot anyway. I call it True Grit category.

Classic cowboy?

I prefer to hear it in an English accent.

Each? Thank god I've got a subscription. Although I don't have all of them. How far back do yours go? What's the date of the first issue you have? Thanks -
Maybe those over analyzing it don't know what a DD-214 is and thus don't get the joke?

That's the one. I love that place. It's only about 20 minutes from my house without traffic, and as anyone that lives in the bay area knows, with traffic everything else is at least 20 minutes away. Here are some pics. I welcome any advice on playing with this new to me type of technology It helped to keep my new Colt company on the way home

You don't even have to show the blade. The skull handle alone says "I'm a bad ass!" -
I don't do facebook, so I don't understand their policies. But apparently these clowns don't believe free speech extends to hate speech.

That's pretty funny right there

I also had a good trip to the lgs. I had to go pick up my new colt from jail (10 day wait) and happened to see something I'd never seen before. It was a little Merwin and Hulbert 38 s&w pocket pistol. Because it was an antique, I was able to walk right out with it as well. What a really neat gun. I've never seen anything like it before. Now I've finally got that pocket pistol taken care of.

California looking to secede
El Hombre Sin Nombre replied to Tom Bullweed's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Or when slavery is involved. But no need to split hairs. -
I have experience. I bought a Stoeger supreme with the nickel barrels. Beautiful and the work done was superb. Never once had a shell fail to shuck. I think it's probably the best bang for your buck in hammerless. I prefer the hammered doubles so I switched to a cimarron 1878 dove by Johnny meadows. Can't complain there either.

California looking to secede

When I said grown, I wasn't talking meat. I use the term raised for that. The point is it would be very hard for either California or the rest of the country to exist without each other. -

That's a good one. I must have seen that movie a hundred times as a kid. -
California looking to secede

California is not going secede. Even if it wanted to, there's no way that anyone would let that happen. Over half the food grown in the us comes from California, as well as a whole lot of tax dollars. California may not be able to survive on its own, but sure as hell the rest of the country can't survive without California. For better or worse, both need each other. -
Ah ok. Glad you cleared that up. I was going to make a note to never shoot where blackey does. I like to think of myself as a pretty tolerant person, but having someone try to LGBT me is where I draw the line haha.

Outfit needed...1876 Indian Wars
El Hombre Sin Nombre replied to Old Buckaroo, SASS # 29117L's topic in SASS Wire Classifieds
Do you need a rifle to go with it? I've got a battle of little big horn commemorative 1866 that would be perfect for it. -
Huh? LGBT you? What kind of matches are you going to?

That looks great. How long did it take? I always wondered why Uberti uses that red finish. Then I bought an original Winchester 1873 made in 1887. Wouldn't you know it, but the wood looks really close to uberti wood. So I suppose they tried to make it look aged, but then make the case coloring look brand new. I prefer my guns to look new and then age them myself. It's great knowing that I can strip my uberti and make it look new again. Or just stick with my brand new Winchester. One can never have too many options

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you asked, cabelas has these in sale all the time for $150 and free shipping. That could be why there isn't much interest.
-
Yes she is and she sure was. I think I need to go watch that movie again now.

If we're going to pile on long hunter, I'll add mine. Bought a Remington 58 conversion model, a new vaquero, a smoke wagon, an open top, a stoeger supreme with nickel barrels, as well as action jobs on an uberti 73, an older model 66, and an original 73. On the original Jared did a lot of special stuff like welding one of the links and also getting bone and charcoal case colored. Yeah I really like they're work. Very good people.
