Daniel Penny found NOT GUILTY

Seems to me Daniel Penny did more for public safety in one move than DA Bragg has done in his tenure there.

Your wife watches Fox, good for her! They may not be 100% accurate but they’re closer than anyone else and if they do report something wrong they will correct themselves. I get my news from them and my local station for local stuff.

I watch Fox News (on line), BBC News and the local Fox News affiliate for the news. I do go to other news sites like Yahoo News, Bay News 9 (local Spectum station) and Al Jazeera just to see what the 'enemy' is up to. It is interesting the different spins on the exact same story is. Fox = moderate right, Yahoo = moderate to far left.

Yea occasionally I'll go to CNN and MSNBC to see the other side. It's interesting how they spin their side of the same story. Notice I said occasionally and never with a full stomach!

I trust our jury system because I can't think of a better way to do it. I can't expect perfection but I can expect people to try for it. I didn't pay that much attention to this case but I heard he continued the choke hold a full 5 minutes after the guy was unconscious even with people telling him to release it or he'd kill him. I think if you know how to apply a choke hold you should also know what not to do, but I didn't hear everything the jury did and I accept their decision that a reasonable person wouldn't have known this action could result in death. One thing I was worried about before the verdict came out was that if he went to jail nobody would be willing to do anything to protect their neighbor.

According to The New York Post, "Jordan Neely’s cause of death wasn’t Daniel Penny chokehold — but ‘combined effects’ of drugs, struggle and schizophrenia: defense expert."
