Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 So... would a Martini be considered "clear liquid?" Asking for a friend.
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 ... seems reasonable ...

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Would this be prep for a colonoscopy? Sometimes they also say no alcohol.

Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 Actually... as I was leaving the medical center last Wednesday (continuing 'stones saga) I said "dangit ~ after that, I'm gonna have myself a martini tonight!" The very kind nurse smiled and said "you go right on ahead - you deserve it!" Reminds me of another time... about ten years ago, having gone through some cardiac stuff (AFib). My doctor said "No alcohol! It's bad for your heart!" But my cardiologist said, "Ya know... just don't go overboard, but having a drink or two is okay - it's good for your heart!" So guess whose advice I chose to take...?
