Where have you been the last five or six years, Son?  I live in one of the most conservative places on the planet and every day I see someone that I cannot decide what gender they are.

 

Couple of females that could easily pass as male lumber jacks.  A body to die for sweeping up at a local chicken place turns around to let me see a bright red beard and Yosemite Sam moustache.  A skinny thing walking down the street with no descernable features to identify gender.  A muscular "guy" at the VA breast feeding a baby,  The line gets longer by the day.

Female is a sex, not a gender.  Again, if you don't know what a female is, I think that's where it goes off the rails.  Even the nutjobs who can't decide their gender know male from female.  My dog doesn't wear clothes, but he's clearly a male.
