Stopsign32v Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Just want a decent action work. Who out there is the person to send them off to?
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 If you can find one close to you so no shipping, that would be good.
Stopsign32v Posted July 18, 2024 Author Posted July 18, 2024 How is TC Guns LLC, James Club III? That's somewhat close.

An excellent Smith and a great guy. He welded a pair of low-profile Blackhawk hammer spurs on my Stainless Ruger Old Armies years ago. They look like they came from Ruger. Lucky
Major Hazzard, SASS #23254 Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I had a pair of Uberti made EMF Hartford Model revolvers done by Long Hunter about 10 years or so back. I seriously could not be happier with the results.
Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I have several Colts and a number of Uberti SAA's. I have only had action jobs on two of the Colts, as they had timing problems when I got them and at the time I didn't know enough about them to fix that. Every other Colt and Uberti has had nothing but a spring kit and I am happy with all of them. Most new SAA clones have pretty good timing when new. YMMV of course.
