Alpo Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Okay, first thing is we should all be aware that's not real. CGI. It is supposed to have happened in Canada, and Canadians are nice. A Canadian bear wouldn't do that. Has to be a fake. And the golfer that's going after a bear with a golf club as a weapon - he's a moron.
Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103 Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Bundaberg Rum has a commercial where a golfer lands his ball on a saltwater croc's forehead. I've heard of birds snatching a golf ball, or a fox, I've considered the ramifications of a ball landing close to a sunning copperhead snake. Never gave any thought to a hungry bruin exploring the golf bag for edibles!

The guy was obviously an idiot for going after the bear with an iron...everyone knows that you have to use a driver on a bear, jeez.

BTW, did anyone get the bear's handicap?
Dawg Hair, SASS #29557 Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Anybody that would like to know about bears and idiots should read "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson or watch the movie with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, especially the part where Stephen Katz (Nolte) brings a bag full of chocolates for the trip.
Texas Lizard Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 I was more wondering if the bear was going to get in and drive off.... Texas Lizard
