Rest Drifter Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Just got a pair of high boots, cavalry style. How do I keep them from folding over? First pair of high boots I’ve ever owned. thanks
Rest Drifter Posted March 28, 2023 Author Posted March 28, 2023 It’s amazing how often I overthink stuff. Lol. Simple pool noodle. Thanks
Pat Riot Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 I had a pair of cathedral boots (stove pipes). I rolled poster board up into tubes, stuck them in the boot(s), let it relax then taped them to make them into semi-conical tubes to keep the boots upright and in shape.
Muleshoe Bill SASS #67022 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Oh I get it.. You actually take your boots off? Wow
Rip Snorter Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 If you want boots to last, wear 'em a day then rest them a day, two if you have enough pairs of boots. I only own boots.
Sedalia Dave Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 I use the large pool noodles. Taper one end so that I can insert it all the way.
T.K. Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 2 liter soda bottles. Also you might consider hanging them up with clamp / Wire hanger contraption. I made some with harbor freight clamps and wire coat hangers.
