Smuteye John SASS#24774 Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 Anybody interested in a free ride in a helicopter flight for 4 people? I'm still looking for 2 more people to join us. We leave early Saturday morning from Myrtle Beach, SC and will fly to St. Augustine, Fl where we will have breakfast and then on to a yacht for lunch. Then we’ll do a flight along the coast to see Jacksonville, FL and return back to St Augustine for dinner and then fly back home. If interested please pm me.... Creeker, SASS #43022 Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 A former Las Vegas cowboy shooter "Contrail" (now sadly passed) was, in real life, a jet pilot in the employ of one the families that own casinos locally. Knowing that I have some interest in flight (single engine prop planes under VFR conditions) - he would invite me to fly along with him anytime he had to take their private jet out (without the family) for some reason. I enjoyed our impromptu flights over the Grand Canyon and various other places and experiencing private jet flights without footing the bill for same. Still remember a cowboy shoot in Yuma that we were unable to attend - so we flew over the range to be there in spirit. I miss that and I miss my friend.
