Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
I’ve seen lots of bayonets a got to thinking there must be a lot of ak-47 bayonets on eBay, even some fakes. OMG https://www.ebay.com/c/1731650931 BUT even the stabbers with realistic prices are high, high enough to encourage fakes. But what does 4x6 mean? Alpo
Dunno. All those ads are talking about 6x4.
Alpo
It's the generation of the bayonet. 6x2, 6x3, 6x4. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/10/29/history-evolution-soviet-russian-ak-bayonets/
Sixgun Sheridan
When I'm into collecting something, like US military 1911s and such I can understand the prices people ask. But when it's something I'm not even interested in I just roll my eyes at the amount of money people are willing to exchange for such things. Funny how that works. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Looking at those prices, it’s not so much what people are willing to, but what the will ask.
Utah Bob #35998
Note where the sellers are. There are plenty of domestic companies where you can pick up reasonably priced blades. I Never purchase from Latvia or Ukraine. Never!
watab kid
ive collected a large number of bayonets over the years - always US and commonwealth , so i know nothing of the AKs - but these are one of the most prolific in the world - they should be cheap , i suspect import laws are in play , dont stop looking till your sure you have the right one at the right price for you , i have overpaid for the one i had to have [a rare brit hooky] but today its worth a lot more than i paid ...time plays a role in that ,
Badlands Bob #61228
I went and checked my AK and OMG, I don't even have a bayonet lug. I've been politically corrected and didn't even realize it.

J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
I have one for my AK-it is nothing special when compared to my M7 US Bayonet which has such wonderful steel that after a proper sharpening, you can actually shave with it if you don't mind sticking a razor sharp double edged blade that close to your face.
