The reality is my retirement date will probably be July 1st, Friday, or the 5th, Tuesday, depending on how the bureaucrats at work calculate things for me. A side benefit to selecting July 4th is this year the holiday falls on a Monday. Politicians, Bureaucrats and Bankers love Monday holidays. Since those folks are typically on my list of scum the world could do better without I think retiring in a Monday is appropriate in my case. Kind of like a cat wiping its feet as it exits a cat box… 4 Quote
