so what do they taste like?

inquiring minds want to know

Hard to explain, not a real strong taste, you'll have to buy some and find out! If you like beans you'll like these!

The question is, Do you know how to eat them?:o

Well don’t keep us in suspense!

How do you eat them, right out of the jar?

That was my wonder.

A can of English peas can be eaten straight out of the can, but they should be heated first. Not what I would call "ready to eat".

A jar of olives, or pickles, where you just take them out of the jar and stick them in your mouth - that's "ready to eat".

So are them things a snack food? Peanuts, potato chips, lupini beans?

My question also. I like beans cold and hot. Heck, baked beans (IMO) are better cool than hot.

Inquiring minds got's to know........

They are actually quite tasty - I had many of these as snacks in Saudi Arabia.  The Egyptian Orthodox have a fasting period where in they eat these for almost a month.

Well here’s the instructions for eating them , right out of the jar but you hold the bean and bite the skin gently where the little hole is and squeeze it so the bean slips out of the skin and pops in your mouth! Yes I’m serious ! You can eat the whole thing but the skin is kinda chewy.
Any true Italian knows this technique , it’s kinda weird but fun!!
