Father Kit Cool Gun Garth Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 When does an explanation of why you did something become an excuse? Example.... Teacher: Johnny why did you take the eraser off the chalkboard? Johnny: I wanted to dust it off for you! Teacher: That's no excuse. Johnny was explaining his motives, yet the teacher took it as an excuse for what he did. Ever happen to you in your life?
Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I'm sorry Teacher. Next time you can damn well do it yourself.
Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 It actually was a pretty good excuse. Unless she saw him fling it out the window.

If it had been on the floor, I would have picked it up. If it had been sitting in the window sill, I would have taken it from there. Then Johnny can ask the teacher: Why do you put gas in your car? Teacher: so it will power it up and take me places. Johnny: That's no excuse. ..........Widder
