Orient Express
HI pards, I have a pair of stainless Ruger New Model Vaqueros and shoot gunfighter. Hence I want to change out my standard hammers for SBH hammers. The problem is which one should I order? Ruger has different part numbers for their Super Blackhawk and the New Super Blackhawk. Thanks.

CodyMaverick
I will also suggest you consider the hammer and trigger sets from Power Custom. They aren't cheap but you get half-cock notches and a really great trigger pull. They have them in the SBH and Montado styles. Those half-cocks are really great if you have a tendency to slip hammer. El Hombre Sin Nombre
Heck, Stainless even looks best in a Blue gun. I have to disagree with you there. It's the one thing I really hate about my colts. If I can ever be without them long enough, I'm going to have the hammers case hardened like the originals.
Rex M Rugers #6621
Actually , all Ruger SBH hammers are Stainless , the "blue" ones just have a black finish on them. Rex
