You see the word "holiday" is a combination of two root words, "Holy" & "day". How about Xmas. Nope you can't take Christ out of Christmas that way either. You see X is the first letter in the Greek translation of Christ or in the Greek pronunciation Cristos. "Χριστός". The word Christmas is a combination of two root words "Christ" & "mass". Mass is Latin which means worship. No matter how hard some people try, they just can't take Christ out of Christmas. So I wish all here a very Merry Christmas, & a blessed holiday this Xmas season.
