I just received mine last week after a 4 month wait! I haven't shot them yet, but other than the heavy trigger pull, which can be easily resolved, I'm very impressed with everything on these pistols, including the price, and I've shot Ubertis, Piettas, ROAs, and Vaqueros for years. I'm hoping to shoot them this weekend, but I know I'll soon be dreading the decision before each match, whether to shoot my stainless Ruger Vaqueros, short-stroked, with brass sights ($900 + $500 + $75 = $1,475 each) or these new Pietta GW Competition Series ($901 each)? Either way, I'll have a fantastic pair of backup pistols that will be just as good as the main match pair. Of course I'll have to gather some spare parts (leaf springs) for the Piettas, something one rarely needs for Rugers.
Also, I love my Bling, so I had to swap the black plastic grips for a set of pewter grips!
