Badlands Bob #61228 Posted December 7, 2012 Share Posted December 7, 2012 I've been reading the details about this so called fiscal cliff. Most of the programs that get de-funded are feel good social welfare programs. Yes, there will be tax increased across the board but mostly on the 47% who don't pay taxes now. Heck, those are the people who receive most of the services anyway. They should pay something. The military will take a hit but we are winding down in Iraq and Afghanistan so it probably won't be that big of an issue for them either. It's time to get the house in order and cut some of this crazy spending. It's time people figure out that the government can't do everything. I don't know that this fiscal cliff is such a bad thing.
