Deuce Stevens SASS#55996 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Just picked this up at Sams club NEW RELOADING BENCH . If you are looking for a very sturdy bench this is it. Over 1" thick maple top, leveling feet. I won't reload sitting down so the height is perfect for me as well.
slate mike sass#29204 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I'm gonna have to go look at one of these.
SaukValley Sam, SASS # 66557 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Bought one several years ago and am very pleased with it. I bolted my lee press to a 2X10 about 12 inches long and then clamp the board to the bench. Could not bear to drill holes in that beautiful top. Also lets me move reloading gear easily so I can use bench for other work.
Dodo Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I got mine two years ago from Sam's club and friend of mine got two of those. It's a great work bench it is very strong. Only $199. But did you see the other small work bench on wheels with draws and fits under this table to put supplies?
Sneaky Gun Runner SASS 79775 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I have one as well. After I got it home I installed a pair of "T" tracks in it and stuff go's on and off like a breeze. "T Track"
Cherokee Kliff Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Sweet! I mounted all my stuff next to my bed on some homemade Oak cabinets. But if I were to re-do, that would be my choice!
BrimstoneJerome Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Oooh la laaaa. This looks much better than that $&itty dresser my press is bolted to now. Thanks for the post. Brim
Rolan Kraps, SASS # 24084 Life Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Meh, we went a different route. 8' of counter top with a 5' Sink section and an 18" section. That gives me room to pull my stool under the work/cleaning area while still giving room for the presses (since this picture was taken I've mounted a Square Deal B next to the 550). http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk200/Rolan_Kraps/ManCave001.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk200/Rolan_Kraps/ManCave003.jpg
Grizzly Adams 3674 Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I picked up a couple of these for my shop 2 years ago at Costco. Same bench, just black. Great value!
Texas Jim Henry, SASS #20616 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Howdy, Deuce - Since - unlike you - I prefer to sit down while I'm reloading, is there any way the legs can be cut down without compromising the integrity of the bench? It does look like a solid bench and a good value for the money. Regards, TJH

The leveling feet are tapped into teh bottom of the legs so I don't think there is a easy way to modify it to a lower working surface. But there are lots of good looking phenumatic stools with backs that would work well with this bench.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 - that looks like a top shelf bench Deuce .... GG ~
Waimea Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 yep, It is what my reloader is mounted on. Bolted it to the wall and it ain't goin nowhere. Waimea
