There are variations on all recipes Monkey Gland •2 oz gin •1 oz orange juice •1/4 oz grenadine •1 dash absinthe •orange slice for garnish Preparation: 1.Swirl a dash of absinthe in a chilled cocktail glass to coat it, then dump any excess liqueur 2.Pour the other ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. 3.Shake well. 4.Strain into the cocktail glass. 5.Garnish with the orange slice or a burnt orange peel. Corpse Reviver Now this is a fun, stylish cocktail for Halloween parties. It pairs well in a dark cocktail menu with the Black Martini for a little scare with some class. Here's how it goes: * 1 part Bailey's Irish Cream * 1 part Lime juice (lemon juice may be substituted) Take the Cream and sip the juice. Swirl it around and it will solidify in the mouth. The acid the the juice will curdle the cream and stick to you're teeth and mouth. Or a simple Coke and Vodka, mixed right, it tastes like vanilla coke and no burn. Grabbed a bottle of each and started towards the door......... Got to the check out .......and got carded!!! I didn't have my ID.......... Had to go all the way back home (To the dinner and party that was slowly brewing at my house) and someone handed me the bottle of Captain Morgan.......... Needless to say, I didn't get back to get my Bushmill's or my Tequila.................... .........And I've had a headache all day..................... ~EE (who gotz alot of Captain in him) Taft~ Yo hoho and a bottle of (hIcCuP) Rum!! When I was in the Navy, I tried a Skullbuster. Served at the Bar in the San Juan Hilton, it was seven shots of different kinds of rum, served in a mug shaped like a human skull. The bet was that if you could drink two of them, they and the rest of your drinks, for the night were free. I passed out after the first one. LOL I've given up on the oysters after a friend told me they were a guaranteed aphrodisiac. I tried a dozen of them one night and dang it all if three of them didn't work. Never bothered again with them. on another note - I just can't abide those fru-fru drinks - they make my teeth itch. I prefer a good single malt with a smidge of water - or a good Hendrik's gin martini - extremely dry thank you, with a twist. other than that - I'm happy with a good old vine Zin or a good Merlot. My needs are simple - I like the best. BTW - there are drink catalogs out there oyu can download for free for your iPhones and such that have up to 7000 drink recipes in them - so you can imagine the possibilities . . . .
