I have several Davis Derringer in 3 different calibers . All three of mine seem to work just fine. I must have the only three in them calibers that work according too everyone else lol Also have a American Arms Derringer in 45 . Never liked the big bulky Bond Derringer guns . Just too big and ugly . But they work good so I'm told . Rooster

Nice Vintage rifle . I have a Navy Arms Uberti 66 Short Rifle with the safety. Awesome rifle . I would suggest leaving that rifle stock and buying a newer 66 or 73 and short Stroke that gun . Parts are more available for the new gun if needed . I have a 44 Special Short Stroke 73 Short Rifle that I was told Cowboy Carty did the cut & weld Short Stroke too . It's a sweet rifle. I don't really ever use it because I shoot a None Short Stroke 66 . I'm not fast and I'm not ever going to be fast . So Short Stroke don't really matter to me . Anyway I'm rambling on . Give Cowboy Carty a try ? I have no idea how to get ahold of him other then posting for him here. My Bad . YES ( Cody Conagher ) Thats the name i was trying to come up with lol Good luck . Rooster
