  1. I'm not Catholic but I wish him well.
  2. There may be shortage in our little world. However, if Ruger cranked up and made 1,000 pair of SBH hammers and put them on their website, it would probably take years to sell them all. I have four NMVs with the SBH hammers installed on them. I'm not in the market for anymore. They don't wear out and there's only so many Cowboys willing to buy them. I know it's frustrating trying to find them but it's a very small niche market that probably isn't worth Ruger's trouble.
  3. Get a wet/dry shop vac. Spray the area down with water and then shop vac it up. Make sure the black powder is wet. Put a couple of inches of water in the shop vac tank. Then replace the carpet with LVP flooring. You can sweep it up next time and reuse it.
  4. That's a fine looking cart and should work pretty well. You can make adjustments as you improve the design. There is a market for wooden gun carts that are sturdy and functional and not too heavy.
  5. I guess they don't want it falling apart during shipping.
  6. IMR Red has been discontinued. From my research, it was pretty good pistol powder. I still have a pound of it I won at a raffle. Never got around to using it. All my pistol reloading is done with Titegroup.
  7. One was a great NFL football coach and the other a great gold digger. Both were at the top of their field.
  8. Chain racing is obviously one of those things invented by committee after consuming a lot of beer.
  9. I've been trained and carried the PR-24, ASP baton, pepper spray, and Taser over my career. Nothing was more effective and handy than a D cell Maglite. You always seemed to have it in your hand when you needed it. A lot of officers would put a bunch of rubber bands around the middle of the Maglite so it would be easier to hold in their armpit while they wrote on a clipboard or ticket book. Tricks of the trade.
  10. Chattanooga is a neat place to visit. They have a lot of attractions. However, they could use some more work on the interstate that goes through there.
  11. It's just like children. No matter how many you have, you can always tell which one is which. Each one has its own story and distinct characteristics.
  12. The amount of skill it took to make that cabinet is off the scale but I just don't find it that attractive. Too busy and visually unbalanced.
  13. There are 4 stages in the Wild Bunch match. It'll take 80 pistol, 40 rifle and 24 shotgun. It would be wise to bring some extra in case you have to reshoot a stage. The stages were written for 5 round magazines. Cardboard Cowboy wrote the stages so you know they will be fast and easy to shoot. I'm looking forward to it.
  14. My father was a Corpman during the Korean War. He never talked about it either.....ever.
  15. I have a question about the Initial license (PTA). Once you obtain this license, do you have to renew it periodically to keep ownership of your firearms? We have to jump through hoops to get a suppressor or a full auto firearm but once we get the ATF permit, we are good for life or until we transfer ownership.
  16. I can't remember the last time I carried change. I rarely need the cash I carry with me anymore.
  17. Those adjustable sights are going to knock it out of the Frontiersman, Duelist and Gunfighter categories. Check the rule book.
  18. Make friends with somebody at a tire shop. Wheel weights work pretty good for our purpose if the price is right.
  19. Go with the 3/8" thickness. 1/2" is very heavy and makes the target stands more prone to falling over. I'd recommend spending the money on AR500 and never have to worry about it pot marking with Cowboy loads. It'll last a lifetime.
  20. My inner 8 year old would love one of these. They don't make cool toys like this anymore.
  21. As I recall, that rifle got thrown around a lot in the movie. I wonder if they had a stunt rifle double.
