Blackwater 53393 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Here’s hoping that it all works the way they’ve planned it!!
watab kid Posted January 24 Posted January 24 probably a financialy good move for the owners/shareholders
Badlands Bob #61228 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I don't blame them for wanting to get out of the ammunition business. The supply chain for the components is just too volatile and unpredictable. Ammunition is also tied to the political winds and that pendulum has been swinging pretty violently the last 10-12 years.
Pat Riot Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Here’s a good succinct description of the purchase. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/olin--winchester-to-acquire-ammunition-assets-of-ammo-inc-302355699.html I swear, news people are getting more carnival barker in their reporting. “Blah, blah, blah” about inane horse crap…
Rye Miles #13621 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 So this looks like a good thing with Winchester and Olin at the helm.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Money from the sale goes to growing their gunbroker business.
