Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Looking on help on finding and buying leather. Looking for buffalo leather to recreate a mountain man era knife sheath. Current leather is very dark brown, smooth but not highly finished on one side and the other side is very rough. Nearly like the skin was never smoothed on the back side. Any idea where I might find something like this. The original leather was bought off a pile of leather at a randeavou (sorry about the spelling). Just need a couple of square feet. Leather is over 1/8" thick. Thanks in advance for your help, Marlin Quote
