Abilene, SASS # 27489
Before I switched to Clays for 45 Colt, I loaded a lot of 5.5gr Titegroup (Hodgdon's minimum at the time) with a 200gr bullet, they were fine. This was also the minimum in the LaserCast manual. Now Hodgdon has increased that minimum up to 6.5gr, I have no idea why. That is way too hot for CAS (933fps).

Sixgun Seamus
I was using 5.5 gr behind 200 gr. Another cowboy friend was using 4.7 gr/200 gr bullet. I switched to 4.7 almost 2 yrs ago with no problems.

Wild Eagle
I use 5.0 grains of TiteGroup behind a 200 grain bullet. 5.0 grains also works with Bullseye and Red Dot.
