We used to have a Cops and Cowboys shoot . Cops were using their semi auto pistols,  carbines and shotguns of course we used our cowboy stuff. The overall winner was almost always a cowboy. I think the top shooter was a cop only once. We did these once a year for at least 6-7 yrs. BTW we didn’t fan our guns like this dude!

All money raised went to the Ohio Search and Rescue Dogs organization.

Fastest first shot out of the holster will go to an SAA in the hands of an expert.  Fanning not required.

The distance the hammer travels on a SAA is shorter than the distance the slide travels on a semi-auto. Simple physics.
