Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 From the internet…. the .950 JDJ is hands-down the more powerful round[than 50Bmg], but it’s hard to call it a “real” round, much less, a small arms option :-) The .950 essentially used a shortened 20mm autocannon round; there were only three rifles made, and the company stopped producing ammunition for those three rifles in 2014.
Colorado Coffinmaker Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 Nothing that weighs between 85 and 120 pounds can be called a "Sporting Rifle."
G W Wade Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 You get to see videos of this hard kicking big boomers, but that’s all! Wish they would do something like rolling a Chevy motor down range for effect. GW
Eyesa Horg Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 That looks like one of those used guns with only one round fired.

G W Wade Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 There was LGS years ago that had a beautiful 458 win built on a Mauser action.Light weight sporter!! They sold the gun with a box of shells for $250. Few days later they would buy back for $200. Replace the missing 1 or 2 shells and resell. Not idea how many times they sold the gun. Never had a chance at itBUT one owner told me he held on tight, sand bagged in. Touched the trigger and saw the sn&” from his nose go right down the side of the side of the forearm. Ouch. GW
