Here in the US we get nerdy and call them on the solstices and equinoxes.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 I got curious, I wouldn’t call it Alpo-ish though, and did some research. Earth is closer to the sun during the southern Hemisphere’s summer than it is during the Northern hemisphere‘s summer, up to 3 million miles closer.
