Pulp, SASS#28319
Had rotator cuff surgery yesterday, curious about some of the photos he took. 1. What is this? Looks like a drywall anchor. 2. Bone spur. Is this large? 3. Apparently a staple? 4. Torn and frayed ligament? 5. Some type of hold stuff together device? 6. Looks like a stainless steel acorn. 7. Bone spur cutter tool? They did it arthroscopically, how do they get all this stuff down those little tubes? So far very little pain, so I really feel lucky!
Pat Riot
Yep, drywall anchors and tent tie downs. Seriously, I have no idea. But please follow your doctor’s and therapist’s directions. I made a big mistake on my first shoulder surgery and had to have a second. On the second one they had to remove all my cartilage. Be careful and wear that brace as long as they say to. PS: neat photos

I had the same surgery, they are anchors for the strings they use to tie things back where they belong. Similar to an masonry or drywall anchor with an attachment point. The second surgery, they cut off my biceps and the supra spinatis (sp?). Now my arm only move out and up about 30-40 degrees. and I get the pleasure of eating Penicillin every day. GRUMP. Be sure you got the pain pill prescription filled. If yours is like my experience some considerable short term discomfort is probably on the way. Once healed, no pain at all. Can't throw a ball or draw a bow quite as well, but everything else good.
