Shanley pulled the boat out of the boat barn to take a look at it...

Good news is, it looks like it is in good shape, and has a trolling motor that we can put on the paddle boat.

Bad news is it has sat a loooonnnggg time, and we found RACOON POOP!!!

I can not recall seeing coons in a long time...sooo.

May be a new motor is going to be in our future?!

Set it out in the sun for a while, hose it down and scrub it with a long handled brush and a bleach detergent combo and let it dry.  Mostly you need to handle the animal or be bitten, not much risk with a bit of care. http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/agricult/pdf/raccoons.pdf

Only saw POOP.

And it was old at that!

Wish I had a fireplace.  :(

Daddy learned stonework when he was 12. By 16 he was working/learning from a master all over NM, CO...

This is his work, and the cabin.

Built many a fireplace, wall...

We have been up working on our place a lot. I go to bed tired but it's different up there. If I had to work that hard at home, I'd be griping up a storm.

I helped my Dad build three fireplaces and had one with the first house we bought.  Bought this house nearly eight years ago and there isn't a single place for a fireplace without a major rebuild project.  I don't even have a place for an electric make believe fireplace.

Got  DVD which has a really excellent looking four hour loop, but it gives off no heat, has no proper smell, and sounds funny.

Up side is I don't have to clean up after I use it.
