Even though I hear it very often since moving to Arizona (and virtually never in California), and appreciate it greatly, it sounds a bit hollow these days.

Even after Half a century. I'll have a cigar and lift a glass to those amazing men I served with, the ones who survived and the ones who fell. They were America's best.
