I eat raw food all the time; apples, bananas, tomatoes, etc. If God didn't want to eat animals, He wouldn't have made them out of meat. And if He didn't want us to cook them, He wouldn't have given us fire.

Subdeacon Joe
Good stuff. But, as others have said, chopped, not ground. Or, I guess, grind it yourself. One time for an SCA event I was doing skewered lamb. Got it cubed up and in a marinade for about a day and a half. As I was making up the skewers in camp I started eating some of it. Dang! That was some good stuff! Had most of my portion that way, only a little of it got cooked.

Then enjoy: By putting on a Ritz cracker. If you ordered this up town by the fancy name of Steak tartar, you would spend a lot of money for it. Around here we call it Tiger Meat. It does not have eggs in it. Good raw home grown ground beef, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, chopped onion, a little Tabasco sauce, and Garlic powder. Been eating it for years. M'mm M'mm Good

Shootin' Shu
Sirloin is not burger.. A cooking show probably gets excellent steak direct from a butcher.
