Alpo
Selman senior. Selman junior was a cop, got into it with Hardin, who pistol-whipped him. That night his daddy, Selman senior, killed Hardin. With multiple people with the same name, you gotta be precise.

Cactus Jack Calder
According to Wikipedia either George Stevenson or James Brooks. The article doesn’t specify which one hit Scarborough. Reportedly he was hit in a leg that was subsequently amputated and he died 4 days later.

Blaze Kinkaid, SASS #253 Life/Reg
According to Eugene Cunningham "Triggernometry, page 347," which was copyrighted in 1941; Will Carver of the (Wild Bunch gang) killed Scarborough with a long-range rifle shot. So, who killed Will Carver?
Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
" A 30-30 high-powered rifle bullet had struck Scarborough in the right thigh a few inches above the knee. It had smashed the bone, passed out of his leg, penetrated his saddle blanket, and lodged just under the skin of his horse. Old Smokey reared, throwing Scarborough to the ground, but did not run away."

The coroner's inquest ruled that his doing so was just good sense but El Paso was like that back then. Let's not forget that it was where the infamous shooting of madame Alice Abbott by fellow madame Etta Clarke occurred in which Mother Abbott was hit in her- according to the El Paso Herald- "public arch" in one of the most famous (and appropriate) typos in newspaper history. I heard it said that shooting Hardin from the front would've been honorable, but shooting him from behind was smart!
