Warden Callaway
High Noon was one of the early movies of Lee Van Cleef. He was the first person shown in the movie. Although he was seen a number of times, he didn't have a line in the movie. Jack Elem was the uncredited drunk in the jail cell. They shot scenes with him for a couple of days but they were all cut. Great in many westerns, I remember him best in Ride the High Country, a favorite movie of mine. He lived a long life; died at 95 just a few years back.
