Ace Caliente Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Quick question - is there any recommended maintenance for the Lee Load All? The documentation I have seems to only talk about operation and considerations for different situations, but nothing about maintaining the machine. I was thinking of using some lithium grease on spring and hinges, but couldn't find much of anything online about this subject.
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Use 30W oil. Put a drop or 2 on all pivot/contact points. Grease gets real stiff in winter time. OLG
Ace Caliente Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 When you say 30W oil are you talking about conventional motor oil SAE 30?
JD Trampas, SASS # 55781 Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Yes he was All for now JD Trampas

Throckmorton,23149 Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I"ve never 'mantained' mine yet, it just keeps going. and going.and going. Now if shot would drop in price
Tom Bullweed Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Lithium grease on the upright tubes and the pivot points on the handle. I bought a spare size and was guide. I also spoon my powder. Just my thing.
Dutch Wheeler Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 On a similar thought, does the Lee Load All resizing die wear out? After loading 4,000 rounds on mine, just wonder if that should be replaced from time to time?
Michigan Slim Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 And be sure to keep it clean. Best maintenance you can do on ANY equipment.
VICIOUS, SASS#8014 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 CLEAN? I guess after 10 years I give it a lube job.
