Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Reminds me of my Mother's family's music and dancing. They came for Kilkenny and Coolen around 1806, but never lost their Irish roots, perhaps due to successive waves of family members that joined them here over the decades. We still maintain family contacts with our Irish kin some 200+ years later.
Buffalo Creek Law Dog
I'm Irish on my paternal grandmother's side, however, lost all contact with that side of the family 50 years ago as they all resided in the Fort Francis, Ontario area. My wife is 50% Irish. Her Irish ancestors had Lucy Maude Montgomery of Anne of Green Gables fame, as a boarder back in PEI before she became famous.
