Double Tap Taylor
I just received 3.5 inch 10 gauge shells to load. They don't fit in mtm boxes due to length. Any Pard out there find suitable box so I can Bring to shoots. They look Purdy all loaded with BP.
Michigan Slim
I would probably make a small wood box for them. Commercially the pickings are slim. The MTM site does show a 25 round box for 3.5" 10 gauge though.
Sedalia Dave
Have you tried MTM's Magnum shotshell box? They claim it will hold 3.5 inch 10 and 12 ga shells. The last ones I bougth that were 12/20 ga I took a sharp chisel and removed the little protrusions from the inside of each divider. made 12 ga shells fit without having to force them into the box. Double Tap Taylor
Problem with mtm they are to long, they fit plastic 3.5 shell, see below for size comparison Sounds like I have to build a couple of boxes.
Birdgun Quail, SASS #63663
A inexpensive canvas tote bag that you can get at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby would be my suggestion. https://www.hobbylobby.com/Wearable-Art/Bags-Surfaces/Medium-Canvas-Tote/p/CT64419
J-BAR #18287
Go classy with one or two custom made canvas shotshell belts from Jax: http://www.jaxleather.com/canvasbelts.html#shotgunbelt Hang "em on your cart so folks can ogle them in all their massive beauty, and buckle them on when shootin' time starts! Chantry
Try a milk crate (I'm the evil person who introduced Double Tap to the joys of heavily loaded 10 gauge BP shells)
Double Tap Taylor
Chantry I will need a milk crate if I pull both triggers like you do at Rukas in building's LOL
Earl Brasse, SASS #3562
Maybe cut little squares to raise the height? I think they sell square wood stock in sizes like dowel rod, then just glue them in the bottom of the holes. (providing it would still leave enough deapth to ho;d the shell)
