billy broncstomper Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Yes they do. Brownells has them in stock. The last lever I got from Taylors had the replaceable cam. I've been shooting it about a year. It is holding up well. Quote
Ace_of_Hearts Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 Could someone provide me with a link to the part ........ or at least a good picture? Quote

Purly SASS # 57438 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I recently bought a ladies and youth model 73' and it had the replaceable cam on the lever. Give Taylor's & Company a call, they probably have what you want. Quote
billy broncstomper Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 The picture and link that Deacon provided is the replacement lever cam. To me Brownells has the picture upside down. This is the cam on the lever that is pinned on. The tip of your lever spring rides on this cam. Your lifter spring rides on the lifter arm. Quote
I. M. Crossdraw, SASS# 8321 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Yep picture provided is just upside down. But that is the part for a lever cam. Quote
Colorado Coffinmaker Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 PILING ON!! PILING ON!! There is a "cam" on one side of the lever only. Recent manufacture Finger Levers DO NOT have aa replaceable cam. Older Levers have a single replaceable cam, on the left side, so the lever side spring will hold the lever open in your cart .. or shut. Quote

One on each side. One is for holding the lever in position. The other for the carrier. Quote
G W Wade Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 This is what I thought. There are two cams on the lever. One on each side. One is for holding the lever in position. The other for the carrier. NO. Lever cam holds lever. Carrier is held by cam on lifter arm Quote
Ace_of_Hearts Posted February 2, 2017 Author Posted February 2, 2017 NO. Lever cam holds lever. Carrier is held by cam on lifter arm You are correct Quote

Yul Lose Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 That's funny right there! You could probably make a pretty good replacement out of ironwood, Ace, I've seen your work. Quote
